“As a result of unprecedented rise of COVID-19/Omicron cases, the OHCHR has evaluated that the 89th session of the Committee on the Rights of the Child due to start on 17 January 2022 is not possible in an in-person format. The Committee is currently in the process of consultation with the OHCHR/UNOG concerning the new dates. Further announcements will be made as soon as the decision is taken.”
